The old round pound coins will no longer be legal tender after the 15th October.
But The London Wildlife Trust is collecting them, for projects such as building new hedgerows. Just six old pound coins could help them create a metre of hedgerow – vital habitat that provides shelter, food and green corridors for wildlife such as hedgehogs.
Bring your old round pound coins along to the Open Ritual to donate to the London Wildlife Trust. We’ll collect them and pass them on!
