Review: Hecate: Queen of Witches

This short film gives a rather surreal (and occasionally “trippy”) depiction of the Goddess Hecate. The only way to describe the feel of this film is to say that it is like the secret cinematic lovechild of Neil Gaiman and Alan Moore.

However, regardless of how weird it may seem, the symbolism is very powerful and does well to capture the often alien experience of opening oneself to the darker side of spirituality.

The story is written by Jade Sol Luna and it is certainly no surprise to learn that he is himself a devotee of Hecate.
